2022 Medicare Annual Election Period (AEP) – Open Enrollment
Each year, the Medicare Annual Election Period (AEP), also known as Open Enrollment Period runs from October 15th through December 7th. During this annual window, you can join, withdraw or change plan. Any changes made during AEP will take effect January 1st of the upcoming year.
Each year there are changes in plan benefits and features. This is a great opportunity for you to reevaluate your current plan and explore other Medicare Advantage Plans.
You can choose Alpha Care Medical Group as your medical group when you join a Medicare Advantage plan. We are the network for all of your medical needs including doctors, laboratory, imaging and much more.
Some actions you can take during AEP:
CHANGE MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLAN
If you feel your current Medicare Advantage plan coverage is no longer suitable for you, this is the time for you to switch plan. Each Medicare advantage plans have different benefits and features; you can choose one that best fits your need.
JOIN MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLAN
If you have Original Medicare (Both Part A & Part B), you can join Medicare Advantage plan which already include Part D coverage and offers additional benefits that original Medicare does not include such as vision and dental benefits, fitness membership, OTC (over-the counter) allowance etc.
NO NEED TO TAKE ACTION
If you are satisfied with your plan and the upcoming changes your plan has, you do not need to take any action, your plan coverage will automatically be renewed as of January 1st.
